England Golf and Mytime Active–one of the UK’s largest pay and play golf course operators–have renewed their partnership to grow the game.
The project puts the customer first and underlines the importance of giving golfers the experience they want from their club and encouraging new players.
The results will help England Golf to support clubs across the country to attract more golfers and to retain members.

Mytime Active’s Bromley Golf Centre in South London is leading the way for the national Golf Express campaign with a brand new look.
It’s just become the first golf complex in the country to be branded as a Golf Express Centre, backing England Golf’s campaign to promote 9-hole golf and shorter formats to busy people and show ‘it’s all the game in half the time.’

The final leg of the Mytime Active Santa Dash tour took place last weekend in Sandwell and Dibden.
Over 700 Santas joined us at Sandwell Valley Park to run a 2km route, supported by our volunteers and the MTA Sandwell health team – with fitness instructors James and Natalie leading the warm up.
We were joined by Radio Sandwell presenter Rupi Lal, who said the event was ‘amazing’.

Women from the North Smethwick Resource Centre have completed a Get Active in Golf programme at Hilltop Golf Course as part of Birmingham’s BME Project.
The BME Project is a jointly-funded, two-year project in partnership with England Golf to increase participation by ethnic minorities in golf.

Sugar free treats, lower fat meals and investments in new kitchen equipment are just some of the ways Mytime Active is helping customers make healthier choices.
Just a small change can make a big difference. Switching to sugar free Slush Puppies in January 2016 not only increased sales, but by late August had reduced the sugar impact to customers by 75kg - the weight of a baby giraffe!

Mytime Active and England Golf are working in partnership to grow the game.
Initiatives are underway to attract more players from diverse backgrounds, to promote shorter formats of golf which fit into busy lifestyles, and to highlight the health benefits of the game.

Staff, members and visitors at Cobtree Manor Park Golf Course on Wednesday 29 June took advantage of free health checks.
Julie Stallard was on hand to take blood pressure, heart rate, height, weight, BMI and waist circumference, followed by a chat about lifestyle and some suggestions for improvement.
