Bromley Town Centre will host a FREE Sport and Wellbeing Festival promoting active and healthy lifestyles whilst showcasing Bromley as a vibrant and exciting evening destination.
You will be greeted by a range of local sports clubs offering a variety of sporting activities and performances on the high street, as well as on stage.
Whether you are a fan of rugby, swimming, gymnastics, boxing or would like to be inspired by something new – there’s something for everyone! There will be fun on offer for the whole family including a 7.5m climbing wall, incredible F1 simulator, BMX starter gate challenge, soft play and crazy golf too!
The festival will also provide a silent disco, trampolining and tennis which will allow you to work up an appetite for an array of delicious street food, including tacos and ploughman's. Why not accompany your food with a drink, from a choice of two bars or grab yourself a free smoothie from one of the smoothie bikes you’ll find on the high street.
At the Health & Wellbeing pagoda you can have a mini health check, get some lifestyle advice from health specialists, or get advice from qualified physios about your injuries. Alternatively come and chat to the 0-19 team and see how they can support bath time with your baby or toothbrushing with your children.
If you are keen for a more relaxing experience at the festival, look out for the sound bath workshops, cryogenic treatments, massage and more - all offered alongside incredible live, acoustic music performances.
For a visual treat on the High Street, pause to take in the striking sporting photography exhibition ‘Active Bromley’, showcasing Bromley in action in a wide variety of sports around the borough.
Bromley Central Library, the host of the first highly successful BR1 Lates event - Library Lates, will stay open until 9pm to add additional activity in the town centre into the evening. Inside the library you will find, an adult lego session, promotion of new Start Up Bromley supported businesses as well an exhibition of Bromley Historic Collections artefacts.
Not only that, but the library will host a showing of the Bromley FC based film, ‘The Bromley Boys’.
Bromley Central Library is not the only venue opening late – Lolli’s Bromley and Crepe Affaire on the High Street and Market Square respectively, are both keen to join the fun and will be extending their opening hours for festival goers to visit throughout the evening!
