Celebrate National Fitness Day with Mytime Active
This year, National Fitness Day takes place on Wednesday 21st September and to support it The Spa at Beckenham will run a week long series of events culminating in an Open Day on Saturday 24th September.
National Fitness Day is a UK wide initiative aimed at promoting the importance of physical activity and improved health. The campaign runs a series of events and challenges to encourage people to get into fitness, improve their health or just try something new.
Mytime Active is giving members of the public a chance to try a series of FREE masterclasses throughout the week from 19th September until the 24th September. Working together with Mytime Active partners, sessions will be available with Master Trainers from Keiser, Life Fitness, and TRX , as well as the launch of a new Les Mills programme and The Spa’s exclusive Boutique classes “Fire, Fast, Force, Fierce and Flow”.
The week will end on a high, with The Spa at Beckenham opening its doors on Saturday 24th September to showcase its full range of products and classes. Everyone is invited to pop in and speak to the team about everything from Covid Recovery support, a free health assessment, cycle performance testing and more. The open day will also host a DJ, activities for the children and giveaways, see more at www.mytimeactive.co.uk/nfd
The Open Day is also a celebration of the investment made by the company over the last 6 months – with over £250k spent on refurbishing and upgrading centres, including replacing boilers at Crofton Halls, a new floor and lockers at The Spa and redecorating Bromley Golf Centre. The company has also heavily invested over £100k in new products and services with not one, but two new state-of-the-art cycle studios at The Spa and Walnuts Leisure Centre, and a new look Mind & Body studio.
Kelly Stead, Head of Sales & Customer Experience said of the investments:
“It’s more important than ever to offer quality value for money facilities to those who need us – we want to be able to offer exciting new classes in fantastic environments for all ages and abilities, all wrapped up in an easy-to-use multi-site membership. We’ll continue to reinvest and provide the best fitness and wellbeing experience we can for our communities. We look forward to showcasing our new products, classes and services to everyone at the Open Day on the 24th September.”
The company is continuing to invest over £200k in the next 6 months at its sites, ensuring their members have even more reasons to enjoy Mytime Active for many years to come.
