Community Leisure UK Awards 2020 Winner

We are delighted to announce that our award-winning, pioneering creative music programme ArtsTrain has added to their award collection with the Community Impact – Arts, Culture and Libraries Award from the Community Leisure UK Awards 2020.

Sadly the award event was cancelled but judging was not delayed by Covid-19 and we are honoured to have been given this prestigious accolade.

Community Leisure UK appreciate the challenging times that leisure and culture trusts across the UK are facing. Letting us know of this success has given Mytime Active's staff and volunteer team something positive to celebrate and shout about in these difficult times.

The winners have been announced on their website (www.communityleisureuk.org). This is an opportunity to recognise and shine a light on the powerful attributes of trusts at a local level as well as celebrate the fantastic abilities, services and programmes that Mytime Active offers its’ communities, particularly in these challenging times.

Congratulations to our team and volunteers for making ArtsTrain the award winning programme it is. The quality of Award applications was very high, and the judges had a hard decision to make. We are very proud of everyone involved..

Our award-winning programme uses an innovative model of music making, drawing from music practice across multiple genres. Since 2008, we have helped children and young people facing challenging circumstances, to create outstanding original music. We have supported the development of thousands of young people, transforming the cultural music landscape within the London Boroughs of Bromley, Bexley and Lewisham.
