Me & My Baby Recognised In Parliament

One of our Me & My Baby Customers at The Spa at Beckenham is Ellie Reeves, Member of Parliament for Lewisham West and Penge.

While debating Women's Mental Health in a speech about Maternal Mental Health, Ellie has praised the importance of our pre and post-natal fitness programme in tackling mental health.

Stating that the programme was "instrumental for me in not developing pre-natal depression this time around", Ellie's speech recognises the important part this programme plays in the mental and physical wellbeing of the mothers who take part.

I hope you are well

I am the Member of Parliament for Lewisham West and Penge which is the area that covers the Beckenham Spa. You know me though as one of the women that attends your Me and My Baby pregnancy conditioning class.

We had a debate in Parliament yesterday about Women’s Mental Health and I wanted to share with you the speech I made. The speech is about maternal mental health, my battle with prenatal depression during my first pregnancy and some of the steps that need to be taken to tackle the issue. In the speech I praise the importance of Mytime Active’s pre and post natal fitness program in tackling maternal mental health difficulties so I thought you might like to see it.
