Your checklist for summer fun

Take advantage of the long summer days, keep children active over the break and create some memories for the whole family to treasure. How many of these activities can you tick off?

  1. Have a family swim

A family splash session in the pool is a great way to get the whole family moving and playing together in the water.

  2. Go on a picnic

Help the children prepare sandwiches and healthy snacks, then set off on an expedition. There are parks and woodland to explore around many of our golf courses, and you can always run in to the club house if it starts to rain.

  3. Try something new

Our leisure centres run a summer programme of children’s sports and activities, with tennis, trampolining and more, plus arts and crafts in the Buzz Zone. Make this the summer you introduce your children to golf with junior lessons, or join in yourself with our family golf programme.

  4. Go bowling

Perfect for rainy days and bored tweens, bowling unleashes the competitive spirit in everyone. Get even better value with our bowling and swimming package.

  5. Brush up on your skills

If you’re planning a beach holiday or a day at the seaside, swimming lessons can help your children be more confident, stay safe and have fun in the water. We run swimming classes for adults at all levels, too, so you can learn water skills and pass them on.

  6. Take a study break

If someone in your family is home for the holidays from full-time education, our student golf and leisure memberships are a great opportunity for hard-working students to destress at the gym, in the pool or on the golf course. Special six-week memberships start at just £35.

  7. Go to an open air cinema

With a choice of family favourites showing throughout the summer months, grab some popcorn, snuggle under a blanket and enjoy a film screening in the open air. Check out your local golf course to see what’s on.

Summer days always fly by, so make the most of them together!
